Happy to share that our paper entitled "A Workflow for Automated Cell-Type Annotation in scRNA-seq Using LLMs and Graph-Based Community Detection" has been accepted at the Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB 2026)!

The paper proposes CellLens+, which is a workflow for automated cell-type annotation that brings together graph-based community detection, deterministic molecular inference, and Large Language Models. It detects transcriptionally coherent cell populations, identifies cluster-specific marker genes, and assigns cellular identities through a quantitative scoring framework.

Authors: Layse Gomes Castro, João Vitor Moraes, and Daniel de Oliveira.

Congratulations, and see you at BSB 2026 in Ribeirão Preto!
