Handler-checked behavior

The path clientId must be 8–128 characters and overrides any body clientId. Send theme as light or dark; animationsEnabled is optional and defaults to false when omitted. The route saves preferences for this client profile and returns the stored record with 200 OK; invalid ID or theme returns 422. See Personal preferences.
